Support the Orchestra

The LSO is a registered charity and relies solely on income from ticket sales, members’ subscriptions, Friends of the LSO, Patrons, and fees from advertisers in the concert programmes, to ensure that the long and fine tradition of music making established by Sir Malcolm Sargent continues. You can assist us this season by buying tickets for our concerts in the De Montfort Hall, by becoming a Friend or Patron, or by advertising in our concert programmes.

Become a Friend

The Friends of the Leicester Symphony Orchestra is a scheme whereby anyone can help the orchestra by making a minimum donation of £20 per season in addition to any tickets purchased. Friends can choose to be acknowledged in the concert programmes.

You can Become a Friend at the same time as Booking a concert ticket online or if you would like further information please complete the contact form or contact Sue Mee, Tel 01509 569273 (answer phone), 19 Cotswold Close, Loughborough, Leics. LE11 3AN.

Become a Patron

The LSO patronage scheme was formed in April 1991 with the Lord Mayor of Leicester as the president. Membership of the scheme is open to individuals and corporations for a minimum subscription of £250 covering a single concert season of LSO concerts held at the DMH.

Patron Benefits:

    1. Receive two complementary tickets per De Montfort Hall LSO concert for the seating area of your choice (including the Elvis concert).
Purchase up to ten additional tickets per De Montfort Hall LSO concert at half price based on the full ticket price for the seating area of your choice (not including the Elvis concert or any concessions).
Choose to be acknowledged in the concert programmes.

If you would like further information please complete the contact form or contact Susan Mee.
