The Orchestra

 

The Leicester Symphony Orchestra is made up of about 80 musicians of all ages. New players of a good standard are invited to join where there is a vacancy. Please refer to the list of current vacancies above. Please refer to the Subscriptions section on the website for current subscriptions rates. An extensive repertoire of 19th and 20th century symphonic music is performed.
Rehearsals usually take place at Mayflower Church Hall, Ethel Road, Leicester, LE5 5PH  or Judgemeadow Community College, unless otherwise stated, and there are usually six leading up to a concert, on Sundays and Monday evenings (7.30 to 9.30pm).
