FREE PRE-CONCERT PIANO MASTER CLASS, 2pm on 29th March 2026 @ De Montfort Hall
An exciting opportunity for selected local pianists of all ages to work with our fantastic soloist.
Our soloist Dominic Piers Smith will lead a free masterclass for 30 concert ticket holders prior to the concert on 29th March 2026.
If you are Grade 3 or above on the piano you are very welcome to join.
Parents/family/friends of masterclass entrants must also book a free place to attend with children they have booked into the masterclass.
4-5 people from the people attending will be selected to play a piece or part of a piece they choose lasting not more than 3 mins. Dominic will give individual guidance on this piece.
If you would like to be considered to play in the masterclass, please submit:
• Your name
• Your age (If you are under 18 parents/guardians will need to submit this email to confirm agreement to your playing.)
• The full title of your piece
• The name of the composer
• Your grade or level of experience on the piano

The closing date for selection of pieces is Friday 6th March 2026 and you will be notified if successful.
Workshop places must be booked through De Montfort Hall when you book your concert tickets.
