At the end of May the Orchestra made its tenth overseas tour. The destination was Paris. There we met up with the Festival Chorus from Hackney, London, the Chœur Résonances de Suresnes and players from the Sinfonia Pop Orchestra to play two concerts. The pieces in both concerts were Tchaikovsky’s 5th Symphony and Vaughan Williams’ Dona Nobis Pacem. Both concerts attracted large and appreciative audiences.
